Dr. Ronnakorn Vaiyavuth (Ronnie) is an Innovation Evangelist and Sustainable Development expert with a full passion on crafting innovation ecosystem and managing SD through innovation. He is currently the founding faculty member at Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (SCii). He also helps orchestrating the incubator and accelerator programs and related innovation activities in the CU Innovation Hub at Chulalongkorn University as a Director of Innovation. He has been involved with various innovation and startup projects in both international and domestic contexts. He is recently selected as one of 100 individuals contributing to Thailand’s progress into the future as 100 Futurists in the year 2023.
Prior to working in Thailand, Ronnie had worked as a senior consultant and practice leader for energy and climate change in the global consultant firm. During his career, he has managed several large-scale international and domestic projects in both public and private sector domains, including UNDP, World Bank, CITI, Samsung, PTT group, Thaibev Group, BP, PEA, DEDE EPPO, Hong Kong Government, South Africa Government, Thailand Government, SCG, COTTO, and AIS, accounting for over one Billion USD. He was a Policy Officer for the Department of Mines and Energy (DME) in Australia during 2007-2008, where Ronnie worked on reviewing energy policy, and establishing a framework for energy modelling in the Australia.

Dr CHAN obtained BSc and PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has been research collaborator and graduate advisor for Plasma Source and Application Center at NTU since 2012.
Dr CHAN has solid background in plasma science, microelectronics and photovoltaics. He is one of the pioneers in non-destructive soft plasma processing and diagnostics. He has created more than 10 IPs and brought in more than S$5.6M research funds. Underpinned by more than 14 year solid research work in NTU, Dr CHAN has research spun-off Plasma Innovation Labs (PILS) from NTU in 2014, with the aim to provide innovative technology solutions to industries and address the unique needs in plasma electrical systems.
He is the key driver of PILS in conceptualization, development and advancement of novel plasma technologies, as well as exploration of the potential plasma applications in different field for market expansion. Two technology startups have been successfully spun-off from PILS to commercialize world leading technologies in electronic cleaning and space propulsion. In addition, Dr Chan is also leading a number of high-profile technology projects such as plasma CVD for lab-grown diamonds, high performance MEMS microphone, 3-phase plasma purification, etc.

Dr. Tracy Liu is the Chief Technology Officer of Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI, Hong Kong), which is a Hong Kong government-funded research institute for nanotechnology and advanced materials. NAMI undertakes and provides support for market-driven research in nanotechnology and advanced materials and strives for commercialization of the technologies.
Dr. Tracy Liu leads the technical team and directs all NAMI’s research projects and related works. She has over 20 years of R&D experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials as well as their applications. She is the winner of 2013 2nd Prize of “China’s State Natural Science Award” and 2010 1st Prize of “2010 National Institution of Higher Education Scientific Research Award-Natural Science Award”.
Since joining NAMI, Dr. Liu has filed more than 30 patent applications and led the technical team to receive multiple awards in prestigious international competitions, including R&D 100 Awards, Edison Awards, CES Innovation Awards, etc. She has led the technical team to build a long-term collaboration with multiple world-leading industrial companies. Professor Ling Hong, Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Applications from Tsinghua University, Ph.D. in Management from Fudan University, and visiting scholar at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He currently holds the position of Professor in the Department of Information Management and Business Intelligence at Fudan University’s School of Management. Additionally, he serves as the Ph.D. advisor, Director of the Smart City Research Center at Fudan University, Chairman of the Professor Committee at Fudan University’s School of Management, Academic Director of the EE Center at Fudan University’s School of Management, Executive Council Member of the Chinese Information Economics Society, and Visiting Professor at the University of Hong Kong.
Professor Ling Hong has long been engaged in research and practice in information management and information systems. His areas of expertise span across information systems and e-commerce strategy, e-commerce and business model innovation, smart cities, business process reengineering, enterprise resource planning, big data, and artificial intelligence, among others. He has published over 130 academic papers and has spearheaded or participated in more than 30 initiatives, including projects under the National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program), Natural Science Foundation projects, government decision-making consultancy projects, and enterprise informatization projects. In addition, Professor Ling Hong has been teaching undergraduate, master’s, Ph.D., MBA, and EMBA students at Fudan University for an extended period and has been recognized with the title of “National Excellent Course.”

Zhao Xing is the full professor and doctorial supervisor of the Institute of Big Data, Fudan University. He holds the position of the Deputy Director of National Institute of Intelligent Evaluation and Governance, Fudan University, the President of Institute of Metaonreal, the Chief Expert of Metaverse and D. I. Man Laboratory, East China Normal University, the member of the Teaching Guidance Committee of Higher Education of Ministry of Education of P.R.C. He also has been recognized as “Shuguang Scholar” of Shanghai. Professor Zhao is the editorial board member of Journal of Informetrics, the globally highly-influential SSCI journal in the field of informetrics, as well as the editorial board member of five CSSCI core journals. His research interests include data intelligence and information resources management, with recent focuses on smart social governance, D. I. Man, and emerging areas such as the “metaverse.”
Professor Zhao has published over a hundred articles in both Chinese and English in prominent journals including JASIST, Journal of Informetrics, Scientometrics, Information Processing & Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Information Resources Management, and Journal of The China Society for Scientific and Technical Information, and has also authored two scientific monographs published by Science Press. He has led more than 50 research projects, including projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, The National Social Science Fund of China, or supported by Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Education of P.R.C., and projects recognized as Key Strategic Projects in Soft Science in Shanghai. Professor Zhao’s works have been cited over 1,000 times and has been reported by various mainstream official media more than 200 times. He has received over thirty honors, including the Outstanding Achievement of Young Scholar Award in Humanities and Social Sciences Research from the Ministry of Education of P.R.C., the First Prize for Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Shanghai, and Young Information Scientist Award from the China Society for Science and Technical Information.
